Sunrise IPTV 1.0

The interface was designed for an embedded Opera browser with limited resources such as a few hundred MHz and a few MB of RAM. We quickly had to learn about browser reflows, repaints, and the limitations of the platform. The stream in the background consumed much of the available performance. Despite these challenges, the project was unique and we learned many tricks to keep the UI as fast and reliable as possible.

In addition to creating wireframes and designing the UI, I also worked on the CSS aspects of the views. I also wrote numerous prototypes in JavaScript to explore various solutions for tackling the complex spatial navigation and highlighting content.
